OUR ARROGANT LEADER
By Peter Fredson
November 9, 2005
George Bush has a firm grasp on fantasy. He revels in the wonderful work that prayer could do for Katrina, the people who drowned because of his inaction, and the fine way in which his lengthy vacations in Crawford have contributed to cultural conflict and disillusion. While his guitar fondling may not ever win any awards, his rap speeches concerning staying his failed course in Iraq, and his dastardly repeated violation of Iraq (…)

IS GEORGE BUSH A DOG OR A TAIL?

There is an old refrain about “the tail wagging the dog.” For years it seemed that George Bush was in firm control of his power base. Anything George wanted George got. The entire Republican Congress took any request George made of them, did it with applause, and practically kissed his royal butt. Their incestuous union brought up another refrain about “They must hang together or they will hang separately.”
The Republican Party itself (…) -
BUSH HAD A SECRET COURSE

By Peter Fredson
October 20, 2005
For over a year practically every Bush speech mentioned “Staying the Course.” First, it is well known that Bush employs Newspeak to disguise what he really means. The Bush regime is one of the most secretive in our history, and it spins whatever truth there might be in some pronouncement for maximum deniability.
Second: “To stay a course” does not mean what Bush intends it to mean. “To stay a course” is a nautical phrase meaning “Stop (…) -

Today on the TV screen I saw a picture of Saddam Hussein in a prisoner’s dock in Iraq. There was a lot of empty space in the framework around the former dictator and I felt that other people should have been included. Was this not for crimes against humanity? Was it not for war crimes?
I feel deeply that the entire Bush cabinet of 2000-04 should be in that dock. George, Dick, Donald, Colin, and Condi with Karl and a half dozen other (…) -

We are all familiar with the Bush Cabinet trade-mark facial expressions: Bush’s preppy smirk, Cheney’s sneer, Condi Rice’s scowl and Rumsfeld’s dead-pan way of spouting horrible news. Most people want to know why Bush smirks in his self-satisfied way when he has just done something atrocious. It is a trade-mark smirk, identifying Bush.
For instance, when he appointed John Bolton as America’s diplomatic representative to (…) -

Political Satire for True Believers
Here is the premise. On the eve of one of his speeches, Bush hears from God, who says, “George you must tell the truth.”

This country is reported to be under the direct administrative control of the Christian Biblical God. It is reliably stated that God has relayed instructions to the President of the United State, George W. Bush, on invasion plans and killing Muslims, although he may not be available for the national economy, environment, medicine, floods, terrorist disasters or other national preoccupations, judging from the failures of Bush (…) -

George W. Bush has learned the art of exploitation well. He knows how to take unfair advantage of a person or group, or some accidental circumstance, for his own benefit or advancement, in an organized, deliberate or systematic way. He does this by linking his name to some occurrence or symbol, then strongly suggests that he has done something heroic or beneficial which should be rewarded with votes, support, cash and accolades. A Political Satire
In a surprise move that left many Americans gasping, Georgy W. Shrub was proclaimed as President-for-Life. Republican Senators gathered last night at midnight in a secret session and within an hour had given George Shrub all the powers he yearned for, had voted him in as President-for-Life and declared that any criticism of their move was treasonous.
The smiling President-for-Life then swaggered down the (…) -
WILL BLACK ABORTIONS SOLVE CRIME?

William Bennett, Republican hack politician, former Reagan administration Education Secretary, Director of Drug Control policy under George Bush the First, author of “The Book of Virtues” and someone who lost 8 million dollars on high-stakes gambling is back defending his party’s anti-abortion stance. He informed his radio program audience that if we aborted all black babies then the crime rate would reduce drastically.
On his radio show Bennett told a caller, "If you (…)
