At least 15 touch-screen voting machines that produced improbable numbers in Ohio’s 2006 statewide election are now under double-lock in an official crime scene. And the phony "Homeland Security Alert" used by Republicans to build up George W. Bush’s 2004 vote count in a key southwestern Ohio county has come under new scrutiny.
The touch-screen machines were locked up after Ohio’s new Democratic Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner, (…) -
Peace Candidates Step Forward to Challenge Bush Enablers
17 February 2008 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsThis week an exciting new candidate has come forward to challenge Nancy Pelosi in her San Francisco district where the voters are being ignored by the Speaker of the House. Citizens around the nation are pledging time and sending donations to Shirley Golub in an effort to show Nancy Pelosi that we have had enough. She has failed to uphold the Constitution and appears to be protecting Bush from his crimes, not defending our Constitution and holding him accountable to the law.
Shirley Golub (…) -

Interview: An interview with author William Poundstone.

That’s the takeaway from Gaming the Vote: Why Elections Aren’t Fair (and What We Can Do About It), the latest of eleven books by William Poundstone, a professional skeptic who studied physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before he began pumping out nonfiction in (…)
