    DELAND — The aftermath of the general election in Volusia County grew more tangled Tuesday, as a local voting rights advocate sued to throw out the results.

    We saw Ukrainian presidential election coverage on CNN last night. It was surreal They were saying that in the Ukraine elections aren’t transparent. ’Scuse me?
    This, after CNN said they weren’t interested in filming 59 orange-tagged records from Volusia, Florida showing that our elections have not been at all transparent, and are missing one-third of the key documents entirely. Psst. Don’t look here. Look there.

    Most Americans by now have heard about the election 2004 voting problems, but odds are it’s been from mainstream media sources like the NY Times, Fox News or NPR debunking the internet researchers as ’tin-foil hat conspiracy theorists’.     The Washington Post and other leading American newspapers are up in arms about the legitimacy of a presidential election where exit polls showed the challenger winning but where the incumbent party came out on top, amid complaints about heavy-handed election-day tactics and possibly rigged vote tallies.

    A top-ranking official with Democratic Senator John Kerry’s presidential campaign told North County News last week that although unlikely, there is a recount effort being waged that could unseat Republican President George W. Bush.
