A BUZZFLASH READER CONTRIBUTION by Matthew Cardinale
Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) has asked to become the 14th signatory of the GAO letter demanding an investigation in electronic voting. This information was confirmed by a staffer, Theresa, in the U.S. House Judiciary Office, on November 22, 2004.
As of this writing, Schakowsky’s signature has not been submitted to the GAO.
However, the GAO has received letters of (…) -

Monday 29th November 2004 Michael Meacher smells something fishy in Bush’s return to office. The evidence of fraud is not yet conclusive but, given the Republicans’ record, it is all too plausible
The great mystery of the US presidential election was that the exit polls, which had been reliable guides in all previous elections, did not tally with the final results. Tony Blair, it is said, went to sleep on 2 November thinking John Kerry had won, but woke in the morning to find that George W (…) -
Kerry’s Silence Indicates Complicity with Vote Fraud

115 commentsGo to JohnKerry.com and you will find absolutely nothing about the mounting evidence of vote fraud- why? There is no mention of the official voting receipts found in the garbage, or about the vote suppression in Ohio, or about the GAO starting an investigation into the 57,000 reported cased of voting ’irregularities’ nationwide. 13 Members of Congress have asked for an investigation into the voting problems, heaven forbid JohnKerry.com mention that. Why is it that VoteNader.com and (…)

These technicians reportedly hacked the systems to skew (…) -
So Why Aren’t Americans Rising In The Streets Over Election Fraud?
26 November 2004 par (Open-Publishing)
17 commentsA long history of strong belief in our legal system, a lack of dissemination in the media we’ve relied upon for over two centuries, a large percentage of the people who’ve been snowed into believing what the current power structure is professing, and a very deep-seated desire to save our country through means that do not tear it apart. That’s why we’re not in the streets.
We who understand what’s been done must reach the rest of our people. We must raise the issue and the evidence, (…) -

By Askold Krushelnycky in Kiev
Ukraine’s contested election took an extraordinary turn yesterday when Viktor Yushchenko, the opposition leader, declared himself president before parliament as 200,000 of his supporters marched on the presidential palace.

You should see my inbox. "You lying liberals are the scum of the earth. I hope you die."
Last night I got another threatening phone call. The red state cult Christians do NOT like us blue states at all. And the feeling is mutual. "The Confederate states suck eggs. How can 59 million Americans be so dumb!"
This bickering is not a luxury we can afford. Right now, we are like some self-important mice trying to beat each other up — while the cat just stands by and (…) -

4 commentsMoveOn mobilized hundreds of thousands before the election. This weekend, almost 20,000 people met to tell them what they should be doing next. But can they turn all that energy into a unified progressive vision?
by Rachel Neumann
The waiting list was long; only a lucky 60 people found their way to this San Francisco location on Sunday, Nov. 21. With a friend in common - the progressive online organization MoveOn.org - conversation came easily; they converged on the San Francisco loft, (…)
