Will the economic crisis lead to social unrest in the UK?
28 February 2009 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsIf the predictions of some economists are right and we are heading for a prolonged slump, then the answer to the question has to be yes. What is more difficult to predict is exactly how this social unrest will manifest itself and who will be the main actors. Some commentators are implying that we could see a return to the kind of disturbances that swept across the country during the early 1980s. My view is that as the UK has changed so much since the early 1980s as to be almost (…)

UK "Left" New Statesman joins Anglo Mainstream media in CENSORING out Obama’s war crimes
10 February 2009 par (Open-Publishing)
I have been reading the UK New Statesman magazine for all my adult life. It provided some kind of alternative to the outrageous lying by commission and omission of the mainstream media of the Western Murdochracies. However the New Statesman has CENSORED out carefully researched data on White Establishment creature Obama’s huge war crimes for his new Masters in his first few weeks of office. Obama is the ultimate Uncle Tom – and he has just started.
Recently I published carefully researched (…) -

The world watched in horror yesterday as the conflict in Gaza claimed its latest innocent victims in the rubble of a UN school. Any hopes of reconciliation are being snuffed out as anger spills into protests around the world.

Employability is a point around which the Bologna Declaration has based its rhetoric of the positive forces of the free market.
The Bologna Declaration sustains rhetoric of employability that is central to the redefinition of HE as an economic system. It promotes tools like the Diploma Supplement (a document giving more information about the contents of a qualification earned) aimed at increasing the depth and comparability of degrees across Europe. This is supposed to make (…) -
