    Once again the empty suits filled , pockets filled with loot, have decided to "repackage" the CBS Evening News.... They’ve hired Today show co- host Katie Couric from NBC.... The Today show co-host goes into evening and then ,no doubt, into that good night of broadcast oblivion , a complete flop.....They will buy a couple of months of improved ratings . The novelty will wear off and the BS-ers will have to buy off her enourmous contract ..... Katie probably hopes this happens..... (…)

    Pictures of Iraqi prisoners-naked, wounded, covered with blood, women’s underwear draped over their heads, bound in painful and degrading “stress positions”-were broadcast on Australian television Wednesday, further exposing the horrors inflicted at the US military’s prison camp at Abu Ghraib and similar facilities across the globe.

    There is a wonderful (American) TV show that will end its run after many years of entertaining us and giving those who often do not know the inner workings of the White House a lesson on how the executive branch works.
    The show I speak of is "The West Wing." Many people through these past five years have craved a president like President Jeb Bartlet. After all, he is intelligent and speaks in coherent sentences and does not seem to take that many vacations.

    TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran on Monday banned CNN journalists from working in the country after the broadcaster misquoted President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as saying Iran wanted nuclear weapons, the ISNA students news agency said.
    CNN’s simultaneous translation of Ahmadinejad’s lengthy news conference on Saturday included the phrase "the use of nuclear weapons is Iran’s right."
