(you may remember the tune: We’ll Meet Again) I’ll see you again don’t know where, don’t know when but I know they’ll kick us out some sunny day. Keep hoping, dear it’s been only three years Bush’s "freedom"s getting close that’s what they say. Will you please say hello tell my pals not to go them them this war is wrong They’ll be happy to know when I hear the bombs blow I’ll be singing this song: We’ll meet again when the priest says "amen" but at last we’ll meet again yes, I know (…)

FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS
24 May 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
6 commentsby David R. Hoffman, Legal Editor of PRAVDA.Ru
The Bells did not toll in remembrance on April 9, 2006. The flags did not fly at half-mast. The rubbish that passes for “news” in the world of corporate-controlled media did not mention his name. Even the glut of television programs and networks devoted to the sycophantic worship of “celebrities” failed to acknowledge him.
He was, after all, a man of substance, and substance finds no home in a culture obsessed with sensationalism and (…) -

Only one friend of mine popped the champagne after the Supreme Court’s 5-4 vote in Bush v. Gore effectively sealed the deal that we’d see a right winger in office.
The friend, a fan of ’70s and ’80s punk music, was overjoyed because he told me (I’m paraphrasing), "The (…) -
Righteous Indignation Album of the Year-Neil Young Clobbers the Thought Police
30 April 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
I’m listening to Neil Young’s new album, Living With War. It’s not my first time; I was lucky enough to be at a private listening last week in California. But now, along with millions of others connected to the Internet, I’m hearing it live today through my computer speakers, streaming for 24 hours, courtesy of Mr. Young and his absolutely brilliant bunch of guerrilla marketers and movement builders. Peace groups like True Majority smartly have seized on the moment to mobilize Young’s (…)

(published here in English, Spanish and German) By Phil Ochs; translations by Germán Leyens, Nancy Almendras and Nadine Discenza ; introduction by Axis of Logic Eds. Jan 7, 2006, 10:31
It is 40 years since this song was written and performed by Phil Ochs. At the time, it was simply one more reason for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to mercilessly harass Ochs for his ‘anti-Americanism’.
But the man would not bend. He was passionate about reforming the (…)
