"Al Qaeda is nothing more than an extension of the operatus linked to U.S. intelligence that was allowed, by script, to remove itself as a rogue break away entity of the U.S. government; allowed to de-compartmentalize from oversight, and was run instead by Gary Best rogue black ops specialists for scripted activity outside of the U.S. government, with its funding being orchestrated through the Pakistani secret police, an entity of the U.S. government itself." Last Updated: Thursday, September 7, 2006 | 10:45 AM
A majority of Canadians believe U.S. foreign policy was one of the root causes that led to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, and Quebecers are quicker to criticize the U.S. administration for its international actions than other Canadians, a recent poll suggests.
Those conclusions are found in a newly released poll conducted by Léger Marketing for the Association for Canadian (…) -
Has Canada Got the Cure?
1 September 2006 par (Open-Publishing)
4 commentsby Holly Dressel Publicly funded health care has its problems, as any Canadian or Briton knows. But like democracy, it’s the best answer we’ve come up with so far.
Should the United States implement a more inclusive, publicly funded health care system? That’s a big debate throughout the country. But even as it rages, most Americans are unaware that the United States is the only country in the developed world that doesn’t already have a fundamentally public—that is, tax-supported—health (…) -
Doing the Wrong Thing in Afghanistan. Depleted Uranium: The Definitive Moral Paradox
30 August 2006 par (Open-Publishing)

It is Canada Day evening, and I can barely hear the whistles, booms and bangs of the fireworks. It sounds a bit like distant bombs exploding, reminding me of the incredible moral paradox our federal government’s aggressive military role in Afghanistan has created for all Canadians. Our government, military, newspapers, television and radio media are efficiently dispersing the official sound bytes: "our troops in Afghanistan have the moral authority"; "Canada is doing the (…) -

5 commentsCanada’s Multiculturalism A Threat Or Grace? By Joshua Hergesheimer Tuesday 27 June 2006, 13:31 Makka Time, 10:31 GMT It has been almost a month since the Canadian city of Toronto woke up to the news that 17 suspects had been arrested in an anti-terror operation.
The suspects had been caught in a police sting after they tried to buy a suspiciously large quantity of fertiliser that could be used for bomb-making.
Canada, the country north of America considered synonymous with the word (…) -

No Place For Canada Foreign Invaders Will Never Control The Fierce Pashtun Tribesmen Of Afghanistan By Eric Margolis July 02, 2006 The war in Afghanistan that was supposedly won has resumed — with a vengeance. Fighting is reportedly intensifying and spreading across southern Afghanistan as resistance to foreign occupation grows.
In 2001, unable to withstand high-tech U.S. forces, the Taliban leader Mullah Omar ordered his men to disband and blend into the civilian population. At the (…) -

What will it take to persuade this government that our military deployment in Afghanistan is a disaster for Canada?
Stephen Harper bristles at the very notion of seriously debating this doomed mission.
But the president of the country we are supposed to be "securing" sees it differently. Afghanistan’s president, Hamid Karzai, says that the recent deaths of 600 Afghans in the so-called war on terror is "unacceptable."
He (…) -

Don’t Blame Canada

5 commentsDon’t Blame Canada By Stephen Lautens June 16, 2006 In the past few weeks, I’ve heard some of the yapping social experts say something that really gets my blood boiling.
I heard it in reference to two recent incidents - the breaking up of an alleged terrorist plot and a sweep in Toronto that arrested a few truckloads of gang members.
What was it the enlightened commentators said that got my goat? When it was pointed out the people accused in each case were immigrants or ethnic (…)
