    First let me say that I have owned guns most of my adult life. I’m not a gun nut or a fanatic with high-powered rifles and semiautomatic handguns, or a bunker under the house. I owned a shotgun for home protection and a pistol for personal protection because I worked in a rough area and had to make cash bank deposits.

    On Thursday, April 30, 2009, in a massive act of non-violent “Civil Resistance” over 50 activists were arrested at a protest action in front of the White House.     While running a police check was going well, the situation where a skid POLICE COMMISSIONER just attacked us.
    COMMISSIONER says starts with taking the camera from our 1st confrere, then rushed on the second which had its accreditation MEDIA NATO press card will be requested and confiscated on the spot.
    At this time we still do not know or is this card or press and we can recover.
    One thing is sure, a complaint will be filed in the coming days.

    Indigenous activist Splitting-the-Sky was arrested in Calgary yesterday. He was protesting the presence of George Bush. Although both Canadian and domestic law compels Canada to bar or arrest Bush as a "credible" war criminal suspect - the government has thus far shielded Bush from any move to do either. Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper is a staunch neocon and supporter of Bush policies.
