(AGI) - Rome, Aug. 11 - The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Fausto Bertinotti, has sent the Frammartino Family a message of condolences for the death of the young man killed in Jerusalem.
"The news of the violent and tragic death of Angela has profoundly saddened and distressed me," writes Bertinotti. "The humanitarian commitment and the spirit of solidarity of a young man serving the people and the primary needs of a population devastated by war and terrorism have a very high civil and social value that is priceless.
And in this sense," continues the president of the chamber, "I strongly hope that the courage of Angelo, who lost his life while fighting for peace, for dialogue, for cooperation and non-violence, can at least help to alleviate the pain.
It is necessary that the entire community and men and women who hope for peace to unite in a big hug with your family, to which we offer all our solidarity, mine personally and that of the Chamber of Deputies; with my most sincere and warm condolences."
Messages of sympathy have also been sent by the President Bertinotti to the Secretary General of Cgil, Guglielmo Epifani, to the President of Arci, Paolo Benni, and the national coordinator of Young Communists, Michele De Palma. (AGI) .
