It is past time for health authorities to curb the antibiotic misuse that created the resistance of this aberrant E Coli strain
The massive outbreak of E coli O104 in Europe has infected more than 1,800 people and left more than 500 with the potentially deadly complication known as haemolytic-uremic syndrome. It has leapfrogged borders to at least 13 countries and killed about 20 of its victims. As health authorities try to trace the outbreak to a food that can be removed from the market, (…)

Contrary to Tim Flannery et al: we must stop meat eating to stop starvation & greenhouse gas pollution
24 January 2011 par (Open-Publishing)
Professor Tim Flannery is a leading Australian environmentalist but raised the ire of many other environmentalists by supporting the empirically ineffective and hence counterproductive Carbon Trading-based Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) approach to putting a price on carbon pollution. He has now rejected the sensible approach of the vegetarians by stating that “I believe that in a world facing a food shortage and a climate crisis, livestock represent a potent weapon in the fight to (…)

The oil crisis of the global food crisis
6 September 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
The world’s daily oil consumption would be 30 billion barrels per year (almost double the oil reserves of Mexico) which represents aa say that every half year, the world reserves phagocytoses a major oil producer and energy alternatives still need massive subsidies to be viable in developing countries, which together with the hydrogen technology (sort of philosopher’s stone that will solve the energy problems of mankind), is still nascent and the inertia of the assets oil will not allow (…)

Towards the global food crisis?
24 July 2010 par (Open-Publishing)
The shortage of basic agricultural products for food (wheat, corn, rice, sorghum and millet) and the increase of such bestial products in world markets that had the tip of iceberg in 2007, will presumably "in crescendo" along the next decade and reached its zenith in the horizon of 2018. In reaching that crisis, (whose first sketches and are profiled and finish with crudely drawn at the end of the decade) have contributed the following elements:

Many chemicals we commonly use are suspected of generating this increase in brain proteins, including pesticides, fertilizers and food preservatives. A new study found that a chemical ingredient that has been used as a food preservative contributes to several diseases.
Time and again, the chemicals we use in agriculture, food preparation and medicine have proven that there is a price to pay for convenience. The convenience of pest and weed free crops, the convenience of (…) -

FOOD MATTERS: Prevent Illness, Reverse Disease & Maintain Optimal Health... Naturally.

Medical and health care systems have always been among the great bastions of Western civilisation, something that, if all else failed, we look to as proof that we, the people of the West, are the most cared for and technologically protected people that science and money can buy. This was my general understanding for a period of my life that lasted until I was more or less in my (…) -

When is enough, enough? Sometimes reading news stories can be unsettling and then sometimes it can just make you damn angry. Here in America we live with a multi level media colossus that spews out garbage on every level, they too also lie who just ignore the truth. We are all familiar with Fox news 24 hour running propaganda network but they have to get these stories from some where, they can’t make them all up. They would if they could but they’re just not smart (…) -

The sugar coated bullets of the "free market" are killing our children. The act to kill is unpremeditated. It is instrumented in a detached fashion through computer program trading on the New York and Chicago mercantile exchanges, where the global prices of rice, wheat and corn are decided upon. (…) -
