Apartheid South Africa and Apartheid Israel comparisons are germane as we approach the 40th anniversary of the illegal Israeli Occupation of the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) (for a detailed, documented account see MWC News: [Israeli comparisons below are in square brackets]:

Learning the Hardaway

Grey’s Anatomy star Isaiah Washington called a co-star a faggot and ended up in rehab, while former basketball star Tim Haraway said he hated homosexuals and now his career as an ex-jock pitchman is on a cold slab. This will be remembered as the year the F-word became the new N-word and homophobic comments were no longer considered acceptable in polite company. To be sure, America has not endorsed homosexuality, but the new rules do mean celebrities will lose endorsements if (…) -
From little fascist Denmark: another ordinary day in the news
15 February 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
2 commentsMany people I speak with around the world, friends or casual acquaintances, have expressed what might best be described as feelings of cognitive dissonance when I have attempted to explain how bad things are in today’s Denmark. It just doesn’t match the fairy-tale picture of a modern, progressive, peace-loving, little country which most people have acquired throughout the previous decades. This problem has been particularly acute when I’ve had to explain what currents underlay the rather (…)

In reading this alarming story in which the KKK is on the rise in New Jersey, I want to send a clear message to those within this organization, “You are cowards!” You may ask why I will say that of your pathetic group and that is because for the most part all of you wear those hoods.
I mean, come on, if you believe in what you say, then show your face. Have the courage to stand up for your beliefs. That is the American way. Millions marched on (…) -

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — (OfficialWire) — 01/15/07 — Online Reservation System Despite the company’s quaint habit of commemorating holidays and ’important’ events with a ’holiday logo’ and despite having twice previously recognized Martin Luther King Day (), Google, Inc.—the world most popular search engine—has given the famous leader of the American civil rights movement the cold shoulder on his birthday.

US terrorism stats - horrendous Amerikan abuse & killing of American, Arab, Muslim & Asian children
11 January 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
Authoritative statistics reveal huge child sexual abuse in America and horrendous avoidable infant deaths in the Occupied Palestinian, Iraqi and Afghan Territories. The connection between these two sets of phenomena is the psychopathy of power obsession. Thus we are told by psychiatric experts that rape is primarily about power - and racist imperialism is also about power.
Power-obsessed Amerikans are raping American children at an appalling level (1 in 4 adult American Women and 1 in 6 (…) -

Genetics paper erased from journal over political content
[Nature - 11/22/01]
A paper about the genetic origins of Palestinians has found itself at the centre of a political storm. In a highly unusual move, the journal Human Immunology has deleted the paper from its September issue after receiving a wealth of complaints over what some saw as inappropriate political comments about the Israeli Palestinian conflict.
