Have you ever seen a UFO? Millions of us have, credible reports have been made by hundreds and thousands and even the Apollo 11 astronauts reported sightings of strange phenomenon. But what does the government say? Nonsense! No such thing, never was never will be; yet the sightings continue. Unexplainable events, which cause the government’s explanation of, no such thing to fall to pieces. Travis Walton’s disappearance for five days after his coworkers reported his abduction is case in (…)

Dealing With Savages or The Boy Who Cried Nuke
27 July 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
We in America love to demonize our enemies, with a broad brush we paint them, the only good Indian is a dead Indian. Or during World War two, the only good Jap was a dead Jap and by the internment of Japanese Americans we reinforced that notion.
Today America demonizes it’s enemies both real and imagined with terms such as Islamofascist and narco terrorist’s. Big Brother himself would blush at the term Islamofascist, the idea that fascism which supports industry and government working in (…) -
Debushification
23 July 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
July 20th is a holiday of sorts in Germany, a day of remembrance of the plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler. This is not a Fourth of July type of holiday it is more akin to Veterans Day, a day of reflection and atonement. These weren’t George Washington or Thomas Jefferson type heroes but they were patriot’s still.
The plotters were all Nazi party members and quite content with the functions of the Nazi party during the good times. But this was 1944 Stalingrade had turned the tide on the (…) -
What A Nice Man
20 July 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
My mother told me when I was a little boy, good character could never be taken away by others that only I alone could damage or destroy it. Mother was right of course, mothers always are about such things as this. She should know she was raised by a giant of a man all five foot six of him. Her mother died when she was nine leaving my uncle to raise her and five other brothers and sisters.
He was sixteen and it was 1935 so he quit school and worked odd jobs and promised his siblings he (…) -
So You Want To Be A Rock and Roll Star
19 July 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
So you want to be a rock and roll star, then listen now to what I say, Just get an electric guitar Then take some time and learn how to play. That’s the myth anyway, it permeates all aspects of our society even in rebellious rock and roll. The myth that says trust capitalism and all will be well.
I’m a big fan of Michael Moore, from Roger and Me through TV Nation where he once passed out hunter orange wallets to black men on the streets of New York City to help eliminate police shootings. (…) -
Who Are These? That Call Themselves Democrats

3 commentsThe other day I posted Franklin Roosevelt’s first inaugural address. I posted it under the title, That Old Gut Feeling or the Only Thing we Have to Fear is Bush Himself. My intent was to try and draw the parallel between Bush Roosevelt and Chertoff.
Between dispelling fear and sowing fear between the certainty of firm beliefs and assumptions and gut feelings. The speech given by Roosevelt is the Magna Carta of modern liberalism and the founding document for the New Deal and the modern (…) -
How Rich Are You?
12 July 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
So just how rich are you? Are you doctor or lawyer rich? Are you CEO rich? Or perhaps pro athlete rich? Or maybe you’re just a poor shlub like me just an average Joe with an average income. The average is $46,000 but that’s for all families, if you refine it even more to traditional family average is $57,000. But now if you’re a dink (dual income no kids) it rises to $66,000 per year. I guess being childless you can travel on the job more and need less time off.
For non family households (…) -
Corporate Tested, Media Approved
10 July 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
The face race is well underway and in full swing, the second quarter fundraising stats are in and Obama raised more money than Hillary did. John McCain raised less than Rudy but neither raised as much as Obama of course this is all media crapola. The idea that some how fundraising equates to support when in fact the opposite is more likely true. The media opines fundraising is the only metric they have to gauge support before actual ballots are cast. That is of course complete and total (…)

Peek a Boo
8 July 2007 par (Open-Publishing)
1 commentWe hold our hands in front of our faces and tell an infant, “Peek a boo!” Then we put our hands back in front of our face and ask, “Where’s the baby?” From the earliest days of life we are thus trained that some how out of sight equals out of mind. But just like in the childish game we are startled when it comes back and says again, peek a boo.
Perhaps it is just an evolutionary flaw, a hole in our intelligence that only rears it’s head from time to time. Slowing, but not eliminating human (…) -

In the 1960’s the high water mark of American Industrial might, I remember my sister receiving a Japanese transistor radio as a birthday gift. We family members all marveled at it, not just the technology but it’s foreignness. This was America and we Americans had never seen any foreign goods, of course there was pottery and china and such, cheap paper products but this was high technology coming from a foreign land.
Ford Motor Company was offered national distribution (…)
