    National Grand Chief Phil Fontaine of the Assembly of First Nations delivered this statement today (April 29) to Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican. Today the pope told a delegation of aboriginal Canadians he is sorry for the abuse that took place at Canadian residential schools run by the Catholic Church.

    On May 13, the University of Alberta plans to open their new School of Public Policy with an opening gala at which the guest of honour is Condoleezza Rice. Rice has emerged as a central figure in the developing US torture and war crimes scandal. "This is your baby. Go do it," Rice is reported to have said authorizing waterboarding by CIA.

    US Presidents George Bush and William Clinton are coming to Toronto May 29th for a big ticket ’moderated conversation’ between these two.
    The people of Toronto don’t want these US war criminals in their city. According to strict Canadian law they should be either barred from entering the country or arrested.

    British MP George Galloway gave the first of his talks in Canada via a video feed from New York city. He as barred from entering Canada after a complaint to Canada’s neocon government from the Jewish Defence League. A federal court yesterday upheld the barring.
    There was no such barring for war criminal George Bush less than 2 weeks before when he spoke in Calgary. Neither is there any barring expected when Condoleeza Rice visits Calgary May 13.
